The new Crafter made by Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles, manufactured only at the plant in Białężyce near Września, in many aspects sets the standards for vans. The vehicle has a lot of standard components related to active and passive safety, consumes little fuel and features a low CO2 emission and low operating costs.

Compared to the previous model, Crafter has now more standard components such as safety elements, e.g. the system for vehicle stabilisation during lateral wind blows, hill start assist system or automatic post-collision braking system. The standard equipment also includes the start-stop system, LED illumination in the cabin and two-axis adjustment of the steering column. In Poland, the standard equipment also includes the multifunctional steering wheel, multifunctional PLUS display, double passenger seat, electrically adjustable and heated side mirrors and the Composition Audio system with an integrated Bluetooth hands-free set.

Despite the better standard equipment, the new basic version of the new Crafter is available at the same price as the previous model.

The new Crafter, offered with the front or rear axis drive or in the 4MOTION 4x4 version, allows to get to even 70% of customers interested in the commercial vehicles of this segment (the previous model satisfied the needs of only 30% of potential purchasers in the segment).
