Responsibility in practice.

10 April 2014

The „Responsible Business in Poland 2013. Best Practices” Report is a cross-section of 403 corporate social responsibility (CSR) best practices and 155 long-term practices. This year’s publication includes practices from 47 Polish companies. Characteristic is the increase of entries from small and medium sized enterprises – it shows that the subject of sustainable development is an increasingly important aspect of company competitiveness, but also demonstrates the growing maturity of Polish entrepreneurs.

„CSR Best Practices” are actions, programmes or projects implemented by companies, grouped in the report in accordance with the areas listed in the ISO 26000 standard: organizational governance, human rights, labour practices/aspects, natural environment, fair operating practices, consumer issues and community involvement and development.

Volkswagen Poznan submitted 7 project in the categories of philanthropy-charity activities, employee heath, dialogue with employees, policies and procedures, relationships with suppliers, recruitment and adaptation, and pro-environmental programmes.
