Mom, Dad and Brother – All Are Playing Handball!

14 May 2014

The first edition of the event was organized in October 2013 and was received with great enthusiasm. The sporting aim of the festivities is the promotion of handball, with particular emphasis on games and activities based on elements of street handball. Over 50 pre-schoolers participated in each meeting, where under the watchful eye of AZS AWF Volkswagen Poznan Women’s Team players they had the opportunity to familiarize themselves with the basics of handball and see that fun with a ball can provide lots of joy.

„We will probably always associate may with our pre-schoolers and good fun. After a hard indoor season the children show us that we must never forget the joy of playing handball!” – said Karolina Peda. Manager of AZS AWF Volkswagen Poznan. „Seeing the smiles on the faces of kids and their how involved they get in the games and fun gives us the greatest satisfaction and shows that is taking on the challenge of organizing these actions.” – added Peda.

„Handball will never win the popularity of football, but it can at least tread on its heels!” – sums up Alicja Slezak, a AZS AWF player. „When the answer kids give to the question of who places handball – mom, dad, brother – for us it is a sign that nothing is lost and that handball is still in vogue.” – added one of the play leaders.

As usual, „Teach Pre-schoolers Handball” did not lack smiles, sporting excitement and many memories. It is a pity we have to wait a whole year for the 6th edition of the event.
