On 6 February 2012 at the Zieliniec Hotel a Volkswagen Poznan Management initiated meeting took place with Zieliniec residents. The meeting was attended by approx. 150 estate residents.

Our company was represented by: President Michael Kleiß, Human Resources Board Member Jolanta Musielak, Finance Board Member Szymon Trzebiatowski, and Special Vehicle Body Plant Director Piotr Kaźmierczak. The purpose of the meeting was to inform our closest neighbours about the changes that may occur in the district in the event of a possible expansion of the plants as well as establish of dialogue. Addressed at the meeting was the issue of reorganizing the road arrangements and development of the land adjacent to Zieliniec that belongs to the plant with the aim of increasing the production area.

It was agreed that the residents will appoint representatives among themselves, who will be part of a working group set up to find the best solutions. From Wednesday, 8 February, an e-mail address will be available to residents: zieliniec@vw-poznan.pl
