The Supervisory Board of Volkswagen Poznań Sp. z o.o. (VWP) has appointed Mr Marko Antonio Sebastian to the position of Member of the Management Board for Finance. Mr Sebastian takes over this function as the successor of Mr Szymon Trzebiatowski, who has taken charge of the VWP Strategic Projects Division.

Mr Sebastian was born in Germany. In 2002 he finished studies in Economics in Trier.

His professional career began in 1994 in Commerzbank AG, where until 2002 he held various posts, finally advancing to that of Branch Manager.   
In 2002, he moved to Volkswagen Autoeuropa in Portugal (a 100% subsidiary of VW) where he was a financial manager.

In 2015 he became Controlling Director in the Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles plant in Hanover.
