In October 2016, the company will open a factory of Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles in Białężyce near Września, where the new generation of Volkswagen Crafter will be assembled.

The new factory will employ almost 3,000 people and its annual production volume will reach 100 000 vehicles.

To celebrate the opening of a new production plant, the Board of Volkswagen Poznań in cooperation with the University of Arts in Poznań announces a competition for designing and creating an outdoor sculpture symbolizing this investment, including space development for sculpture surrounding.

The competition is open to all who declare their ability to implement the project in case of winning.

The competition starts on June 29, 2016. Materials should be submitted by 28 July 2016 and the results will be announced on August 8, 2016.

The winner will be required to provide and install the sculpture by 01.10.2016.

The budget planned the sculpture, including the remuneration for implementing the winning project, will amount to PLN 50 000 net.
