We would like to invite all institutions and organizations participating in the 2nd Edition of the "Blue Grants" Competition to the announcement of the award-winning projects which will take place on September 27, 2013, at 09:00 a.m.

- “The choice was tremendously difficult, we received many very good applications and there are slight differences in the number of points. The jury faced a real challenge but we could choose only 4 projects”. - says Mikołaj Jóźwiak, the competition coordinator from Volkswagen Poznan when summarizing the 2nd edition. The jury consisted of the representatives of Volkswagen Poznan, Our Earth Foundation, Poznan City Hall and Swarzedz Town Office. – “Because the jury was composed of local government units’ representatives we could look at applications from different angles. I think that it was an interesting experience for everyone”. - he adds.
This Friday marks the end of the first stage of the competition i.e. selecting winners and awarding grants. This coming year is dedicated to implementation of the winning ideas.
The meeting will take place on September 27, 2013, at 09:00 a.m. in the Conference and Training Center at ul. Warszawska 349.
The "Blue Grants" Competition aims at preparation and realization of activities having a form of a project, programme or installation in order to raise awareness concerning the environmental protection, shape the ecological attitudes and awareness of the community, promote active ecological education and support local initiatives contributing to the environmental protection in Wielkopolska. In the 2nd edition of the programme the total grant pool amounts to 24,000 PLN and the company provides winners with a Caddy BlueMotion car for the period of one year.
