Such an impressive group of young and talented Polish students identified their Ideal Employer. The Universum Student Awards 2012 gala ceremony, at which the winners were announced, was held on 16 May in Warsaw at the Mercure Grand Hotel.

The winning employers were selected based on the Universum Student Survey conducted each year among students at the best universities in that state (this year’s edition had over 18 000 respondents). This ranking, as well as the knowledge that flows from it, is for companies and organizations a tool for building a positive image on the labour market (employer branding).
And the winner is...

The highlight of the gala ceremony was the handing out of the Ideal Employer awards in 5 main categories: Humanities, Science, IT, Engineering, and Business.
Below are the recipients of statuettes, that is the first three places.
In the field of Engineering, triumphant again was Skanska Group. Second place went to, appearing for the first time in the ranking, Volkswagen (incl. Audi, Porsche), and third to Budimex.
In Business the winner was Ernst & Young, while further down the podium were Google Poland and TVN S.A.
The gold in IT was won by Google Poland, silver Microsoft, and bronze IBM Polska. These three held the same places as last year.
In Science first place went to L'Oréal Polska, followed closely by Polpharma, and the podium was closed by Nestlé Polska.
TVN S.A. again proved to be unbeatable when it comes to the Humanities fiend.
Second place went to Telewizja Polska, and third to Google Poland, appearing for the third time in the top three Ideal Employers 2012.
Volkswagen Poznan is very proud of the prize it was awarded. Communication with students and cooperation with learning academies is very important to us.
