Full power. 100.000th car has left the production line of Volkswagen Poznań factory in Września.

Exactly at 9:30 a.m. the 100.000th car left the production line of the Białężyce plant near Września. The jubilee model is a red wagon-type Volkswagen Crafter, diesel 2.0 TDI 140 hp. The vehicle with the number 100.000 goes to the customer in Switzerland. Among the previously built 100.000 utility cars there are 88.376 Volkswagen Crafters and 11.624 TGE MANs. Since 2016 the plant in Września is the only factory in the world, where Volkswagen Crafter is build from scratch.

Reconstructions in Zieliniec close to completion.

After lasting nearly 16 months construction works within the communication area in Zieliniec, one of the key stages of this investment was completed. On 15.10 traffic lights at the intersection of Warszawska and Sośnicka streets has been implemented and completed.

The new director of Volkswagen plant in Września.

New management at the Września plant: From 1 October 2018, Christiane Engel, former head of the organization of work and industrial engineering in Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles, will be the new director of the plant in Września. Christiane Engel will replace Ralf Nitzschke, who is going to lead the strategic project called “Cooperations for Volkswagen Poznań.”
