Ecological heat for Poznań

More than 30 buildings, including HCP hospital, will be heated with the application of heat recovered from industrial processes. This is the result of three years of cooperation between the Volkswagen Poznań Foundry and the company Veolia Energia Poznań. Heat recovered owing to the technology of the company Atlas Copco, instead of being emitted to the atmosphere, will be used by the facilities neighboring on the Foundry. It is probably the first case of heat recovery from industrial processes for the needs of municipal heating in our part of Europe.
